Surprise gift doodle for calmingmanatee, because calming manatee is my very favorite marine mammal, and she deserves a great big Easter egg.
(I think it’s plastic and has carrots inside, because I have no idea if manatees can digest chocolate. Or hard-boiled eggs, for that matter.)
Considering adding some colors if I have time over the next few days, but not right now it’s late weh wehhh.

An unnamed OC on the cover of a Moleskine. Don’t think I’ll sell this one, but I have two more blank ones, so if you’d like something like this, let me know.
Inks are fun as fuck. Considering adding a glowing halo of some kind, or perhaps darkening her skin tone a bit. Her looks are loosely based on Yara Shahidi.

Something I did to stay awake at school. Tentative title: “Polar Pride”. Alt title: “Sometimes I Remember I’m Not Lisa Frank And Then I Cry”.
I like doing these gradient drawings, but I feel like every time I do my order changes slightly. So if you ever see another that looks different from this, that’s why :)
Another original I’ll sell if anyone wants to buy. Christmas is coming, and I’m sure you’d like something  pretty for the bear-/rainbow-/cute-lover in your life, right? Right? Or if you want something else, you could commission me to do it?
Under the cut is a review of the pens, because I quite like them and have nothing else to do this afternoon.
[[MORE]]Disclaimer: I am not being paid for this. God I wish I was. But I’m just a fan.
The pens I used for this piece are called Staedler Triplus Fineliners. I’ve always been a Staedler girl, but I fell in love with these pens in high school and have gone through several packs since. They’re quite cheap - this ten-pack runs for around $10 USD - and can be found in any office supply store.

The case is very sturdy and can easily handle being crushed around in a heavy backpack. It took nearly a year for the clips on my first set to start loosing their clipping ability.
The “clips” are the little thingummies that open and close the case, and allow it to fold into an easel stand, which is really really handy. I hate having my supplies scattered all over a table, and this keeps them nice and organized. It’s also helpful when I’m working on a piece like this, and want to keep my pens in a certain order.
The tip is .3mm, which is decently fine. You can get much finer lines with light pressure, or a more marker-like line with firm pressure. They’re quite rigid and sharp out of the package, but will soften and split eventually if you regularly use a heavy hand, so be careful.
The inks are very bright in-person, and match the color indicated on the cap perfectly (another thing that makes artists happy!). There’s no bleed-through unless you go over the same area many times in a dark shade, even on cheap sketchbook paper. They will dry eventually if the cap isn’t properly attached - I lost my pink pen that way. But if the caps are firmly clipped on they’ll last you quite a while.
Some of the lighter colors have interesting layering effects, that end up nearly matching darker shades. Light blue + yellow = light green, light blue + light green = dark green, yellow + pink = orange. Stuff like that. It does mean I have to be careful on a piece like this, though, otherwise all my careful layering goes to waste. Also, the yellow in particular tends to pick up nearby colors, so I’m careful to lay that one down first.
Overall, I adore these pens, and would highly recommend them to fellow artists or to people looking for a gift for an artist.

I think I might start posting non-commission art here, just to keep my name out there and relevant and shit.
This random punk fell out of my pen in class, and refuses to tell me anything about xerself. That’s some fluffy hair. I’m pretty jealous, bro.
If anyone likes this I’ll probably sell this original cheap. Toss me a message if you’re interested.

Colored pencil commission for aspiretosomethinggreater of Clark Kent/Superman and Belinda Wayne/fem!Batman, bein’ shippy an’ stuff. Based on an RP.
Man, this had a lot of editing. I wanted to give Clark a sunny golden glow - and I think I succeeded, in natural light - but due to bad indoor lighting it photographed more like jaundice. Yeesh. And I put so much work into Bel’s blacks that barely shows.
tl;dr, I’m probably re-uploading a better version of this tomorrow when I can take pictures in the sun.
